Software Installation

Double click on the SMSetup file to start the installation. This will open a dialog box such as the one shown below:

Click on the Next button and accept the license agreement:

Select the location where the software should be installed. If you are installing as an admin user, the following is the default location of the software:

Select if you want to open Excel after installing the software.

Click on Next to see a summary of the installation and then click on the Install button to install the software.

The software should now be installed on your computer.

Open the Excel software to check if you can see the Sigma Magic button on the main menu bar. Click on this button to load the Sigma Magic software. You should see a menu bar as shown in the figure below.

This completes the software installation.

Note that if the installer cannot find Microsoft Excel installed at a standard location on your computer, it may show an error message that it could not find Excel so it cannot install the Sigma Magic software correctly. In this case, you will need to manually specify the location of the Add-In to Microsoft Excel.
