Software Registration
When you download the software, you may be asked to register your copy of the software. A sample dialog box for the registration page is show below.
Enter the following details:
- Your full name (First & Last Name)
- Your email address
- Your company or university name
- Your country
Note that registration is NOT mandatory. You can click on the Cancel button to skip registration, but the software will ask you to register the next time you log in to use Sigma Magic software. You can enter the details on this page and click on the OK button to register.
Note that email address validation has been disabled. You do not need to enter a one-time password to validate your email address. If you make a mistake entering the email address, you may not receive ticket information for any issues you encounter using this software.
Note that depending on the options specified during installation, registration may have been blocked by the IT admin. If this is the case, the registration dialog box will not be displayed for the users. If you need to enable this, you will need to run the setup file again and specify that you want users to register their copy of the software.
When you run the setup file, one of the screens asks you if you want to users to register their version of the software. If you select this checkbox, users will be asked to register when they start Sigma Magic for the first time. If you don't select this checkbox, users will not be asked to register.
