If you want to specify the options for any analysis, you can click on the Analysis Setup button on the main menu bar.
Depending on the worksheet that is currently active, the analysis setup will be displayed for that worksheet. For example, if you have the Basic Stats worksheet active, then the following analysis setup dialog box is displayed.
The Analysis Setup contains several tabs on the right.
Setup: This tab contains the settings for the analysis. In this example, you can specify the data type, the notes type, and the stats you want to display for this analysis.
Data: This tab allows you to select the data that you want to analyze. The left section of this dialog box contains the list of available data, and the right section contains the selected data for analysis. Drag and drop the requisite data for analysis. Note that there are three data that be specified. The analysis variable, the grouping variable, and the by variable.
Charts: This tab allows you to specify the options for the charts. This is optional and can be used to override the defaults specified by the software. Here, you can change the title, subtitle, the axis labels, limits, and add horizontal and vertical lines.
Verify: This tab lets you verify is you have correctly specified the analysis options. If there are any errors, it will be shown here before you perform the analysis. In this example, all the inputs seem to be okay.
Clicking on OK will generate analysis results. Note that the analysis settings are saved with your worksheet. The next time you open this dialog box, all your settings can be viewed and/or updated as required.
